The Friends of Clennon Lakes

How you can help

Working Volunteers: If you feel you are able to come along and get physically involved in the habitat management come along on our monthly work parties. It is amazing what 10 people can do in just 2 ½ hrs a month! You’ll see the place in a different way and be proud that you’ve done it.

Started in 2015 the enthusiastic and growing group has carried out some fantastic work around the Lakes. However we need more volunteers and supporters fund the Group’s work. Every penny goes directly toward insurance, tools, materials and printing to keep the group running. Our aim is to make Clennon Lakes a better place for people and wildlife.

You don’t have to volunteer for the work parties to help the group – just £2 a year per person or £3 per household as a minimum donation means you are helping.

You will receive email notifications of what is going on whether it’s free guided walks for our supporters and members, social barbeques at the lakes or work parties.

Feel proud that you have been part of something very special.
